It's been over a year as Sun campus rep and it's time for me to move on. Thanks to this program, I've met incredible people and made amazing friends who I'll certainly keep in touch. I want to give special thanks to my boss Gary Serda, program tech lead Jordan Slott, and program coordinator Haley Simon who have been with me since day one. Sun is a great company and I hope to be back working at Sun again in the future.

This blog will still be accessible, but I'll be moving on to my personal blog at http://teera-k.com. You can keep in touch with me from there.

Take care and keep in touch,

If you are still curious about what I and my colleagues do, it'll be worthwhile to visit Sun's campus ambassador program press release.

Today I completed my fourth presentation within 19 days period! Looking at my summer schedule since the beginning of May, I feel like I've been working harder than the entire previous Spring semester.

The topics I presented today was:

  • Introduction to Netbeans IDE for Java Application Development
  • UML Modeling module in Netbeans
  • Java GUI development with Matisse
  • Netbeans Subversion integration
  • Team programming with Netbeans Developer Collaboration module

Additional Netbeans resources and tutorials:

All in all, within this period of 19 days, 43 copies of Solaris Express Developer Edition DVDs and 25 Netbeans 5.5 CDs were distributed. The number might not be so significant comparing to my colleagues from South America and Asia; but, many feedbacks from the audience have been positive and very encouraging.

Special thanks to my buddy, Warit from Thailand for Netbeans CDs!
