5 Year Anniversary

My wife and I will be celebrating our 5 year anniversary next month. The plan for the last 4 years has been to spend it in Hawaii. However, as the trip from Germany to Hawaii is very expensive and extremely painful, we're exploring other options. Where should we go? My wife would like to go somewhere warm (in April), preferably a beach, and somewhere that's relatively easy to reach from Germany. We've thought about South Africa, Greece, the Canaries, etc, but we haven't decided yet. Anyone have any suggestions for us?

Better Chess

My wife got me a wonderful book for my birthday, called Teach Yourself Better Chess. I've always loved playing chess, but I've never studied chess. I don't own a book of famous games. I don't play using formulaic openings. This book, though, is like the Cliff's Notes for all the chess research I never did. It distills down the lessons to be learned from playing through the great historical games and makes them easy to understand. If you're into chess and are ready to take your game to the next level, have a look at this book.
