Anyone remember the One-click lawsuit Amazon brought against Barnes & Noble several years back? It generated a lot of negative press for Amazon because the patent was extremely broad, and many people deemed it unfair of Amazon to use it in court. There was even a campaign to boycot Amazon (which I'm still doing!). Well, to everything, turn, turn, turn. IBM just brought suit against Amazon for infringing on some basic e-commerce patents that IBM filed decades ago. Go get'em, Big Blue. Serves'em right.
