Grid Discussion Continues

At JavaOne 2005, I hosted a Birds-of-a-Feather session on grid computing. It started out as a panel discussion, but since it was a BoF, I let it quietly slip into an "ask the experts" forum. On the panel were Dan Hushon, CTO of Sun Grid, Richard Nicholson, CEO of Paremus, Greg Pavlik, Web Services Architect at Oracle, and Mark Little, Chief Architect at Arjuna. I was the moderator.

The discussion was very interesting. I am waiting to receive a copy of the audio file from the session so I can transcribe it and post it here. There's little sense in me trying to tell you about it now when I will be able to post it word for word in a couple of days. Check back soon!

Thanks to the magic of the blogosphere, the discussion continues even now. Both Greg and Mark have posted follow-ups to the session on their blogs. Dan, where's your post? Richard, where's your blog? As soon as I get my head back in the Central European Timezone, I will add my perspective. (It was really hard remaining a neutral moderator!)
