A partner in crime just pointed me to a new Sun-sponsored web site, called Slynkr. Slynkr attempts to be a community for communities. Think of it as somewhere between Bloglines and H2G2. Using Slynkr, you can post references to interesting bits of information on the web, such as blogs, and rate others' posts. By rating posts, you get to bring interesting articles to community's attention, and perhaps more usefully, you can help bury useless posts so no one else wastes time with them. In only 5 minutes of using the site, I learned that there's life on Mars and how Google works. Pretty nifty. Check it out.
