Thursday August 04, 2005 3200x1200 is still my favourite resolution. But Xinerama does its job too well in some respects. I know the point is that programs see just one big server, which is magically split across the two physical displays. But every time something starts up and asks to be put in the middle of the screen, and it's sitting there bisected by a line of black plastic, I go D'oh! and wish it were otherwise.
