For the people googling for "best shape for air flow", I'm afraid the answer is "it depends". But you might want to consider that at low Mach number, it will be a smooth shape which is more curved at the front than the back, and that at high Mach number, it will have a sharp front, ideally with a shape more slender than the Mach cone at that particular flow regime. Suggested further search terms: "streamlined body", "Mach cone", depending on whether you're interested in slow or fast things. Hope this helps.

For the people shopping for bikes, no, I don't know why Trek don't list the weights of their bikes on their web site. My Madone 5.2 SL weighs exactly 20 lbs complete with pedals, a frame pump, seat pack and bottle cage. I assume the Dura Ace-equiped 5.9 is lighter.
