Worst episode ever

Smallville, season four. Spell. What were they thinking? Was there some kind of ratings war going on with Buffy? As the title says, and to quote Comic Book Guy from The Simpsons: worst episode ever.

The only thing you can do is watch the next episode on the DVD in order to get the bad taste out of your mouth. I think that came out way after Buffy was over. If you run out of Smallville, watch Firefly episodes instead. I'm obligated to watch because I'm a comic book fan, but there are certainly episodes that I wish I wasn't compelled to watch. --- I was going to make a comment about a different Smallville episode, but I don't know which ones you've seen, and I don't want to give anything away.
