SPECjms2007

Yesterday, SPEC announced the release of it's latest benchmark, SPECjms2007, a benchmark that can be used to evaluate the performance of enterprise JMS servers based on standard workloads. Lots of people put a significant amount of effort into this benchmark which is not at all apparent from the initial coverage in the press. I am proud to have been part of the working group that was instrumental in getting this done. The credits, posted at SPEC, hopefully give a much better picture of all the folks that were involved.

If you want to know more about this benchmark, look over the documentation found in the Information section of the benchmark page at SPEC, especially the FAQ. Looking forward to being able to post more information about this in the future.
