Ok, So call me DUMB, but finding the T2k ALOM upgrade instructions is not easy.  I started here but didn't understand what I needed to do, so after 30 minutes of searching, I figured it out.

  1. We deliver this Upgraded in a Patch:  136927-05 Download it from sunsolve.sun.com
  2. create a /tmp/images - don't know why in /tmp, except faster write speeds?
  3. unzip the patch in the directory
  4. cd into 136927-05
  5. run ./sysfwdownload Sun_System_Firmware-6_3_12-Sun_Fire_T2000.bin
  6. It will run for a while.
  7. shutdown -i0
  8. then from the SC do a poweroff.  This will take a bit.
  9. Make sure the Keyswitch is in the normal position: showkeyswitch
  10. flashupdate -s 127.0.0.1
  11. resetsc
This is the server I'm using for my testing of Sun SRSS 4.1.  I'm also going to use LDOM's to try doing some clustering of some NFS services.
