I could not resist the title... :-) Jakob describes a late addition to the latest JSF 1.2 draft. The method invokeOnComponent() allows to pass a callback into a UI component tree to deal more easily with iterative Contexts. One of the motivators for this feature was AJAX, but it applies in general. |
I'll ask Ed and Jacob for some code snippets and will post them later.
