Ken has been improving the performance of the GlassFish-CORBA and he just described the optimization for marshalling lists of objects of the same type. This relatively simple optimization is of general applicability and also improves the score of SPECjAppServer 2004. Ken promises additional posts; also check his earlier post on how the ORB generates dynamic ties. Of course, the implementation is Open Source. |
