Form-Based Authentication with JDBC Realms in GlassFish
  Posted by pelegri in General

JDBC Realms support was one of the first new features of GF V2 and it has been ported back to GF V1 UR1. The most recent article from Develop In Java shows how to use JDBC Realms in GlassFish to provide Form-Based Authentication for Web Applications. The Derby database that is built-in in GlassFish is used but others would work as well.

The article is detailed and is a good companion to the earlier article on Basic HTTP Security.
