May 2007 Numbers for Postings at USERS list for GlassFish - Another Record

February was no fluke and May yields a new record on posts at USERS@GlassFish: 1079.

Numbers for June look good so far look (128 in 4 days) but we will see where we are by end of the month as the summer is almost here. Hopefully there will be a strong uptake after GFv2 goes final in September (milestones).

hi there, it's really surprising that it takes all of sun's might to get 1000 user posts for such a good appserver. if you look at spring or struts or tomcat, this doesn't compare favorably. Glassfish needs more industry advocates and adopters!! BR, ~A

@Anjan: How long has spring and how long hasGlassfish been dapted by people? Last time I checked Glassfish had several strong competitors, Spring had none.

re: anjan - (2) For completeness, I added the other mailing lists and Forums at Java.Net that are _directly_ related to GlassFish. That includes JAXB, JAX-WS, persistence, admin... I just did a quick sample and it looks about another 1000 posts there last month. But I agree we should see many more... We will get there... - eduard/o
