GlassFish v1 provides Ease of Development from Java EE 5, very good performance, good Tool Support,... For GlassFish v2, we are considering building on v1 in a number of directions, including Clustering, Load Balancing, More Performance, WS Interoperability with MS, some Scripting... But this blog on Don't Show me the Wrapper, Show me the Inside reminded me of another theme that we started addressing in GF v1 but maybe we should give special emphasis in v2: improved Error Messages. Cay has asked for it repeatedly; most recently in this Thread. |
