JavaOne is next week and there is a barrage of announcements. NetBeans 5.5 beta is out, simultaneous with the release of Java EE 5 SDK. This release has support for Java EE 5, as well as many other improvements, including CRUD support ([1], [2], [3a], [3b)]).
