Project GlassFish: Java EE 5 Components from the Source
  Posted by pelegri in GlassFish

Duke for Project GlassFish

One of the goals in Project GlassFish is to make the Java EE 5 Reference Implementation widely available to the Java Community in a high-volume distribution like the Java EE 5 SDK. But we are equally interested in the adoption of individual components that can be used in other Java EE 5 projects.

To help with the latter goal, we have created a Maven Repository, we are continously Adding More Components to it, and we are actively promoting reuse of these components; and we are already getting results.

Kohsuke just wrote a short note on More Frameworks Using JAXB 2.0 Directly. This is a partial list - for instance, TMaxSoft is not listed but they are using JAXB 2.0 directly and indirectly as part of the Web Services Stack. Also, there are several other groups that are considering using JAXB 2.0 individually or as part of the JAX-WS 2.0 implementation.

Please help us spread out the word about the availability of this repository.
