Disabling HTTP Session Persistence in GlassFish

By default, when a GlassFish instance is stopped it persists all in-memory, non-expired HTTP Sessions to file (in order that it can recover them on restart).

If you don't require this feature then Jan has a quick blog detailing how to disable it, he also explains where on the file-system sessions are persisted.
