We are in the typical sensory/announcement overload of JavaOne... so, trying to catch up, here is a bunch of information on the preview release of SJS Web Server 7.0, which uses Web Tier Java Technology from Project GlassFish. Start at fintanr's weblog, then CVR's blog and Joe's comments. After that, go to any of: What is Cool in WS, A Peek by Jyri, Elving's RegExp Redirects. The download page is here, and Ajay's blogs link to screencasts on Installing the Web Server and Deploying Web Apps. |
Do note that the versions of Servlets and JSP supported here are the J2EE 1.4 versions; for those that want to use the Java EE 5 versions just wait a bit longer: the team has structured the product so that a quick revision is possible.
