Satish is part of the team working on the GlassFish Update functionality. Last week he introduced the project and talked about the MacOS X autoupdater (see blog). He now describes the NetBeans update center and how it could Apply to the GlassFish Update Center. I hope that the simple case remains very simple. I run MacOS X and I like the simplicity of their updater. I trust Apple to not break things (too much - and, when they do, to fix it quickly) and usually live totally up-to-date. |
