Wouldn't it be nice if you could install complex web applications and other appserver add-ons in just a few clicks? With GlassFish v2 (and its new Update Center feature), you can. If you haven't tried it yet, you might want to start by looking at Nazrul's introduction to the Update Center. Or if you're even more adventurous, have a look at Manveen's writeups on creating and packaging your own Update Center modules. (Note that Manveen also has another version of her writeup which consolidates the creation and packaging information into one post.) |
