I just bumped into the Sun BluePrints Wiki and I think it is worth a visit. It is a companion to the BluePrints Blog and part of the move towards Self-Published Content at Sun, which increases agility and responsiveness to user's needs.
The Recent Content page lists chronologically the latest changes. The more recent entries are created in Wiki format, while the earlier ones are PDF attachments.
Some of the documents that caught my attention include:

Kedar has a blog on GlassFish cluster administration (domain, DAS, Node Agents, Instances, ...). This should come handy to people looking at understanding when synchronisation actually happen with the DAS (Domain Administration Server) which is where the centralized repository sits. We often claim to have BEA's features at JBoss' price. This centralized cluster management is certainly one such feature. |

Stéphane Paquet has a set of instructions on how to use Liferay 4.3.5 and GlassFish 2.1. The instructions most probably also apply to the latest GlassFish stable release - v2ur1. |
The detailed instructions include recompiling liferay straight from SVN and cover PostgreSQL or MySQL as the backend databases. This could probably be ironed out with binaries, an installer or maybe even with the update center.

Arun has started a TOTD (Tip of the Day) Series covering jRuby, jMaki, Metro, GlassFish and more. The entries are usually very detailed and focused on specific tasks. You can get the whole stream as an RSS Feed. The last 5 entries are: |
• Using JDBC connection pool/JNDI name from GlassFish in Rails Application,
• Generating JSON using JAXB and Jersey
• Switch between jRuby and cRuby in NetBeans
• Difference betwen Ruby Gems and Plugins
• Loading Data from Beans in jMaki Widgets
We will try to give you heads-up of new additions via quick Tips.

I'm going to try a new series at TA - short references to useful tips and howtos elsewhere. My plan is to replace this with a social network-based solution based on Slynkr when that is available, so this is a bit of a prototype / try out the idea. This series will also be useful for the FAQ we are building.

Despite the distractions of the World Cup, Stefan Paquet has blogged more of his experiences with running Liferay Portal and Pentaho on GlassFish
(entry
). He also shares some views on running StringBeans Portal on GlassFish as an alternative to Liferay. Definitely worth reading.
FWIW Stef - I actually think France were the stronger team - the only team to succeed in breaking down the Azzurri's rock solid defense. I'm sure Carla would disagree though :)
