安装 GlassFish 用于开发还算容易，而且您甚至可以有多个选择（简单的 JAR 安装程序、Sun 安装程序、基于 zPack 的安装程序以及现在的基于 zip 的用于 v3 的安装程序）。安装 GlassFish 用于生产确实需要多注意一些。

Brian Leonard 在 OpenSolaris "Observatory" 博客中有一篇近期写的博文，有关如何在群集配置文件中设置 GlassFish 以用于生产目的。它涉及了更新中心内的安装、用户设置、域目录和 SMF 服务创建。

Like a movie that is in the Top 20 by Revenue and in the Top 20 by AFI... like Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope.
