Earlier today (well, yesterday down under) ehCAChe maintainer and GlassFish good friend Greg Luck announced the "acquisition" of Ehcache by TerraCotta, another friendly GlassFish partner. This is giving Ehcache a business strategy, which it never had despite its popularity, in distributed caching.
