JavaFX on Facebook
Some folks at Sun have created the first JavaFX application to run on Facebook. If you have a Facebook account, please try it out! (And if you don't have a Facebook account, it's free.)The picture puzzle app runs on any browser supported by JavaFX, although you get more functionality if you are running JRE 6u10 or better.
To play with the jigsaw puzzle:
- Login to Facebook.
- Search on JavaFX and from the results select JavaFXPicturePuzzle — it should be the second item listed. (It's located at http://apps.facebook.com/javafxpicturepuzzle/Puzzle.)
- Select Go to Application and accept the security questions when prompted.
- Bookmark the app so that you can easily find it again — the Bookmark JavaFXPicturePuzzle button is at the bottom of the page.
- Please share with your friends by selecting the Share with Friends tab near the top of the page.

Nice, but you guys really got to lose the security dialog. This goes for JavaFX in general.

Agreed - definitely have to get rid of the security dialog. JavaFX should work as easily as Flash, and the security dialog is a non-starter for lots of people.
It's great that you did this, but how about a tutorial on how to write a JavaFX app and get it on Facebook? (or is it as simple as just uploading an app?)

I'll second David - it's fair and fine that you have a javafx facebook app. But how did you get it there? If you open up your efforts to the rest of us, maybe they'd be less onlookers and more participants.

Hi Sharon,
Could you please post the source for the puzzle app, or a link to the source? I'd like to write a JavaFX app for Facebook, and I think this could help jumpstart the development.

Hi
is it posible to add to your application when i finished to solve a puzle a message to my friends that i win?
what really i want to know if is it posible to call from a java or javafx app the library wich allow to me publish something to my friends?
I ask that becouse i have not seen any application in java doing this and may be you with your experience can tell me yes, no or do not know.
