Is there any process to the way JDK 7 is developed that outsiders can observe? You include a link to http://openjdk.java.net/projects/jdk7/features/. It looks pretty official, but it includes the Swing Application Framework, when a later blog by the JSR lead seems to indicate it is now off the table. There has to be a better way of tracking the progress of an important technology than trying to read between the lines of blogs and screencasts.
