If you've been developing in Java
for the desktop or server for a while and feel like a walk on the wild side...Or, you've been developing for mobile phones or TV set top boxes and need to stay on top of the latest technology...
Perhaps you should sign up for the M3DD (Mobile, Media and eMbedded Developer Days) conference in January 2009. Either to go in person, or show up online if you can't make it to sunny California in January...
With in depth sessions submitted like "Do it with LWUIT", "How to use the JavaFX SDK and Mobile Emulator", a hands-on session on burning Java games and applications onto Blu-ray discs and even some "Dating Tips for Developers", and a bewildering array of 10 minute lightning talks - like: "Just Say 'Britney Spears': Multi-Modal Search in On Device", its a great way to see what's going on.
