The engine in JavaFX Desktop

Like figuring out that a great car
needs a great engine, its no surprise that many of the press
and blogs about the Java SE 6u10 release have worked out that a
great RIA technology needs a great runtime: that the upcoming JavaFX 1.0 release
will get a big turbo-charge on the desktop from the new 6u10 features like a quicker
download, startup, draggable applets and accelerated graphics from the
underlying JRE.Have a look at this post at WidgetsLab, this interview at InfoQ, or this article at The Register, for example.
But don't just watch the excitement about JavaFX slowly build (and rumor here in the Planetarium being that the team is in the home stretch), get ahead by looking at some of the final tweaks to the JavaFX Script language since the Preview release, or even take an online course.
