Here we go

Hi Blogosphere,

I've just read Scoble/Israel's book "Naked Conversation" and decided to give it a try. So here is my personal blog :-)

My name is Armin Wallrab, I'm employed at Sun Microsystems since 2000 and working as technical presales consultant in the german SOA/BI practice. My intend is to share my views on SOA (and other topics related to my work) with others and maybe build some relationships. I'm a german native speaker, so my english won't be always correct an most of the personal stuff in this blog will be in german language.

Hi Armin,
I am experienced with SUN seebeyond products for several years. I am bit confused about the SUN product strategy with the release of open ESB which is completely different from product stack acquired through SeeBeyond. To my surprise SUN did not score enough on Analyst rankings compared to other players in SOA market. I neither see many new customers other than those SeeBeyond had. I have seen your comments in one of the threads on serverside which look very positive for JBI and open ESB in November 2006, but I did not see any momentum since the release of JCAPS 6.0 in June 2008. What is your view point?
