I finally found how to dial-up on Java Desktop System Release 2 on my laptop PC (Panasonic Let's Note CF-R3, which I overwrote JDS2 on the HDD, so there is no Windows on this PC). After configured modem connection with YaST2("yast2 modem"), become a super user, and type "cinternet --start" in terminal. Now I can connect to the Internet by cellular phone card(W01K of au, which provides maximum speed at 2.4Mbps). As this card is recognized as a serial modem by PC system, there is no special device driver needed.--- in Japanese
ようやく、私のノートPC(Panasonic Let's Note CF-R3、JDS2を上書きしたので、 Windowsが起動しないPCになってしまいました)のJava Desktop System Release 2 でダイアルアップする方法が分かりました。YaST2でモデム接続の構成を行った後("yast2 modem")、 スーパーユーザになって、端末ウィンドウで"cinternet --start"とタイプすれば 良いようです。これで、auのW01Kと言う、最大2.4Mbpsで接続できる携帯電話カード を使ってインターネット接続できるようになりました。このカードは、PCではシリアル モデムとして認識されるので、特殊なデバイスドライバーは不要です。

Japan: Internet Rule and Manner Certification Exam
The Internet Association Japan has started this year's Internet Rule and Manner Certification Exam(in Japanese). This is a web based self exam, and you can take it for free. There are 3 courses, for adults, for kids, and for personal information protection. It is reportedly that the kid version is well accepted in many schools.--- In Japanese
財団法人インターネット協会では、「インターネットルール＆マナー検定」(2005春夏版）を開始しました。 これはwebベースの自己診断試験で、無料で何度でも受験できます。大人版、子供版、個人情報保護検定の三種類があります。子供版は学校で採用しているところも多いと聞いています。
