Japan: OpenSolaris Japan subgroup

As Ienup writes in Leaders wanted at OpenSolaris I18N & L10N community! , I happened to come to the leader of Japanese subgroup. It's not my original intension, and I don't mind give up this position anytime soon. So please stand up and replace me :-)

Japan: My Blog Policy

I thought I should describe my blog policy at the starting point of this blog, though I did not do so for more than a year. Here is my blog policy.

1. Language: English and Japanese
As I wrote before in the first paragraph of this old article, and most of you are aware of it in any way, I write the same contents both in English and in Japanese. This is because some of global readers might be interested in Japan local topics, so if such people are interested in my blogs, it is highly appreciated.

2. Selecting Topics: Sun related, technology marketing oriented
I guess most of you are interested in Sun related topics, since this site belongs to Sun.COM domain. So I pick up non-confidential, technology related topics here. If you are interested in other kind of topics, I cover several area including prog-rock, foods, and so on, in my personal blog or mixi.

ブログを書くに当たっての方針を書いておこうと思っていたのですが、一年以上に亘って書いていませんでした。そこで一応書いておきます。

1. 言語: 英語と日本語で書く
以前の記事の頭に書いたこともありますし、読んでいれば既にお分かりのことではありますが、同じ内容を英語と日本語で記述しています。これは、日本のローカルな話題に関心を持つ人が世界中に居るかもしれないし、そういう人たちにもこのブログに興味を持って読んでいただければありがたいということです。

2. 話題の選択方針: サン関係の、どちらかと言えば技術的な話題
このサイトはSun.COMドメインの下で運用されているわけですし、ここにアクセスする人の多くはサンに関係した話題に関心があるのだろうと思います。そこで、ここでは、機密ではない、技術的な話に関係したことを書こうと思います。それ以外の、プログレの話とか食べ物の話などは、個人のブログやmixiなどに書いています。
