Mozilla Japan was founded on Aug. 19th. This is an affiliate organization of Mozilla Foundation. On the Mozilla session of NSUG Symposium, Satoko Takita will cover both technical phase of Mozilla project and Mozilla Japan related topics. I have been using Mozilla Firefox for a while, and it seems it is farely good to be the default browser for daily use.Also add another browser related topic here. There is "Browse Happy" Campaign at The Web Standards Project. It recommends to swich your browser from IE to another choices, in terms of security. Details are on the Campaign site.

NPO Mozilla Japanが8月19日に設立されました。Mozilla Foundationの連携組織です。NSUGシンポジウムのMozillaのセッションでは、瀧田佐登子さんがMozillaプロジェクトの技術的な面に加え、Mozilla Japanに関しても話す予定です。Mozilla Firefoxをこのところ使っていますが、日頃使うデフォルトのブラウザとしてなかなかよいと思います。
ブラウザ関連の話題として、「Web標準化団体が「Internet Explorer放棄」を勧めるキャンペーン」と言う記事がありました。セキュリティの観点から、IE以外のブラウザに切り替えることを推奨すると言うことのようです。詳細は英語ですがキャンペーンのサイトに記述されています。
