a quick catch up.
I finally got fed up with pushing and pulling USB leads and bought a
card reader. Well I bought two but the first one did not do Sony memory
stick Pro cards at all even though it said it did. The second perfectly
working unit is a
"12
in 1 Card reader aluminium" by i-rocks.
Each of the 4 slots appear as a separate lun to Solaris, so you can
copy directly between them and on Nevada the media automagic mounting
just works when you push a card in.
I've been cycling to work every day which is really nice as I seem to
have got wet every day for the last 3 weeks, in fact every day since
the swinging garden chair was delivered. The car drivers are
still careless and dangereous, driving too fast, passing to close and
using their mobile phones whilst driving. The local council have been
tar and chipping, they put
20
mph signs but motorists still go past at
60 and the flicked
up stones are very painful.
What is
this
that is taking over Farnham Park? Over the last 3 years it has become
more and more prevelant killing the small oaks and thorny scrub - is it
another plant on the increase due to global warming?
