Building Collablets

I'll be talking all about NetBeans developer collaboration and will show you how to immediately add new collaboration capabilities to NetBeans by walking you through building and installing a new collablet in the IDE.

Todd, Interesting talk but how can I develop collablets. This isn't clear to me by going to http://collab.netbeans.org

Ryan: The code has not yet been posted. We are working to prepare it for release later this month. I'll make an announcement here when it is available.

Is the stand alone version of collab (CodePal) going to be released with the code?

Effectively, yes. CodePal is just the NetBeans platform edition with the collaboration modules (and whatever they require), plus a little branding and customization of the UI to make it less IDE-ish.
