WS-Confusion

Hardly a day goes by that I don't wish for a specification-less world, especially when it comes to the steady dribble of WS-* specs that just won't stop. Tim Bray has made some amusing remarks about the situation (also check out Matt Powell's rebuttal), but if you ever wondered how the WS-* specs get done, check out the Web Services Protocol Workshops Process Overview by our friends at Microsoft.
