GWT-based Visual GWT Designer

A good WYSIWYG HTML form editor should be written in the HTML and JavaScript , emulating the web browser environment is a hopeless work. I have developed a prototype GWT Visual Designer using GWT and NetBeans, check it out and you'll have to admit it looks promising.

The idea of web-based IDE is slowly materializing, there is a number of interesting projects going on. Many expect it to be the next big thing in the IDE world. AFAIK my effort was first such attempt for the GWT technology, unfortunately I will not be able to develop a production-quality tool by myself. Do you think it worth to carry on this project? Would you like to join?

This is great! It would be great if you are able to integrate GWT with a webapp created using Visual Web. I've been trying without success to use (G4JSF) to try to incorporate GWT into an existing Visual Web webapp. Not only it should support using GWT within the webapp but a GWT module should be able to access backing beans (this is what G4JSF does) therefore offering full integration of both technologies.

Hie Tomasz.

I really think this is great work and it should be continued till we have a state of the art visual designer for GWT on Netbeans. This could be very popular considering that Netbeans has sort of phased out Woodstock and they is an opportunity there.

I would really love to contribute to this development.
