non-debug encumbered binaries available for 20061002 (sparc/x64)

Yes, you read that correctly. I've managed to get the SPARC binaries available.

I've not yet tested these so if anyone wants to test them I'd really appreciate feedback.

They can be downloaded from The Download Centre. I've also updated the MD5 Checksums for the extra files.

Dennis Clarke has done an excellent walkthrough of how to use them as well (although the first segment of the page is somewhat embarassing ;).

Alan, I swear, you are one of the most productive guys in the whole OpenSolaris world and you deserve all the credit for your hard work. This really does change the way we will build our distros from here on in. Thats commonly referred to as a paradigm shift in thinking and procedure. Thanks Alan !
