Sun Storage 6580及6780儲存系統即日起客戶可選購8Gb/s的光纖通道接口(Host Port)連接主機，由於Sun Storage 6580及6780的光纖通道接口是可以更換的模組設計，使用者只需採購新的介面模組(HIC, Host Interface Card)即可升級速度，目前有4Gb/s及新推出的8Gb/s模組，年底前將會推出10Gb/s的iSCSI模組，詳情及價格請洽昇陽電腦及經銷商。
