And the award goes to...

My colleague Srinath just won the "Arjuna award for accurate directions". This award is given for people who guide or provide clear directions about reaching different places in a city. More than once, I have relied on Srinath's expertise to guide me to different places in Bangalore. I must confess that the directions he provides are really accurate. Just tuck Srinath's hand-drawn maps (see picture) in your pocket, keep looking at it as you drive down to where you want to go and you needn't ask anyone.

So, the Arjuna award goes to Srinath! Congrats Srinath. Keep it up!

I'm sure you'd have heard about http://www.wikimapia.org. With all due respect to your friend Srinath's mapping skills, I'd like to suggest that you try this out sometime. Seems like there's almost no place in Bangalore that's not described here. You can search for places at building/shop level too!
