I know many of us just criticize the traffic. I have myself written several entries about the traffic we have to wade through each day. But someone decided to make a difference. I was pleasantly surprised to get a comment on my blog from Dr Adhiraj Joglekar. Dr Adhiraj is a psychiatrist, and he has created 17 driver education videos. I viewed several videos, and they are simply great. This is a great service from Dr Adhiraj.

Here is someone who decided to educate, rather than criticize. Someone who decided to make a difference rather than just push through the traffic.

This is the website I am talking about:

Driving a cultural change in India

He has created these videos:

  1. Video 1: Covers the concept of Blind spots
  2. Video 2: Introduces the principle of Mirrors, Signal and Manoeuvre
  3. Video 3: At red lights, stop behind the stop line
  4. Video 4: At red lights there are no free left turns
  5. Video 5: The Zebra belongs to pedestrians
  6. Video 6: Tyres and Tarmac (rather than bumper to bumper)
  7. Video 7: Merging with the Main road
  8. Video 8: Leaving The Main Road
  9. Video 9: Never Cut Corners
  10. Video 10: Show Courtesy on roads
  11. Video 11: 5 Rules that help deal with Roundabouts
  12. Video 12: Speed limits, stopping distances, tailgating & 2 seconds rule
  13. Video 13: Lane discipline and overtaking
  14. Video 14: Low beam or high beam?
  15. Video 15: Parallel (reverse parking) made easy
  16. Video 16: Give the cyclist the respect of a car
  17. Video 17: Dealing with in-car condensation
On behalf of millions of road users, I want to thank him for his work.
