"Silkboard" junction in Bangalore is notorious for traffic jams. Traffic jams occur for 5 hours in the morning and 5 hours in the evening at this junction. That being the case, it is becoming more and more difficult to maintain sanity when you are waiting for endless 180 second countdown. You get jealous about traffic moving freely on every other side of the road except on the side of the road where you are waiting.

Countless tales have been told about how an employee reached office at 9 AM after wading through silkboard and Hosur Road. The trick of course was to start the previous day :-) Sages of yore have provided many tips to inculcate the value of patience in mortals. In the 21st century, the silkboard junction is readily available to instill this value in you. If you can wait for 1/2 hour at this junction without cursing the traffic or uttering a word, I salute your patience.

Ho, ho, this is hilarious and I suppose it takes a guy with a sense of humor like Vasanth, to write thus about it!

The only lass missing in this picture is the Holy cow, who has now hit the headlines for reasons other than causing traffic jams...

I guess we really need to set up an online session with the Elephant God and ask Him to intervene...
