Recommended viewing: Bhagavad Gita on Doordarshan
DD Podhigai, the regional avatar of Doordarshan (India's national television network) has some interesting programs to broadcast everyday. One such program is a 10-minute discourse on Bhagavad Gita by a learned pundit in tamil. The program is officially called "Kannanin Aramudhu". It is telecast between 6:30 AM and 6:40 AM everyday. I make it a point to watch it without fail.
If you have access to this channel and know tamil, this should go to your "must watch" list. The discourse is very captivating. I especially like the real-life examples used by the pundit.
Yes, I agree with your comments on the lecture by Sri Velukkudy Krishnan. He is one of the undisputed scholars well versed in the Upanyasam technique. Though he uses sometimes English terms in the DD lectures as it is meant for all audiences, he uses only chaste tamil and Sanskrit in his regular lectures.
