Refueled at SASTRA
When 300+ enthusiastic students listen to you attentively and ask intelligent questions, you are bound to feel refueled! That was exactly my experience last week when I visited SASTRA University, India. I am talking about the "Sun Event" organized in the University with the help of our campus ambassadors Vineet and Abhishek. In this event, I talked about:
- Sun's technologies
- Sun university program
- Why open source is important to sun
- Code for freedom contest
- Open source documentation
Vineet and Abhishek gave a demo of Open Solaris that was well received.
Once ignited, the open source fire can only spread. The enthusiasm can be addictive.
