Last saturday (May 26), I attended STC's first regional conference in Bangalore. More than 80 technical communicators participated in the event. This was held in Vintage Residency, Bangalore. Some of the topics presented were related to localization, CMS, support cases, and technical writing scenario in India. I could see that those who attended loved all the presentations. They made lots of notes, and asked really interesting questions. As a presenter myself, I got a chance to meet with several budding technical communicators. All those who attended were really passionate about learning new things.

A few interesting upcoming STC activities include employment Fair in July (Bangalore) and annual conference in Goa.

Professor S. Jagadish from IIM, Bangalore was the chief guest/keynote speaker.
