Add/Remove locales after Solaris installation This would be more "Solaris 9 Update Release":http://docs.sun.com/app/docs/doc/817-5770/6ml72d6kg?a=view and "Solaris 10":http://developers.sun.com/techtopics/global/products_platforms/solaris/reference/docs/solaris_10_express_i18n_features.html specific. Adding locales after a Solaris install means the admin would need to have knowledge of "what locales" and "what packages" associated to install in order for an additional locale to work. G11N developed this utility to make life a little bit easier. With Locale Administrator, this will help eliminate this, all you need to do is supply the command line tool (localeadm) with : * Location of image media * Locale (en_IE.ISO8859-1) or region (weu) Follow the instructions and you will end up with a system updated with the new locale/region.
