Summary about tech-talks at Alcides Maya technical school
Last week the Porto Alegre OpenSolaris User Group done some tech-talks in a technical school at Porto Alegre. The topics are Open Source, OpenSolaris, OpenSPARC, Java, Netbeans, PostgreSQL, MySQL and JavaDB. In totally more then 300 people attend the talks that start in May 15 and just end in May 17 at night.
It's very good to saw the people questioning, send mail, entry in mailing-list and try to understand the new technologies. I'm very happy do done a talk Friday night and saw the attenders pay attention and done relevant questions. It's really a great experience not only in terms of professional but personal too.
Tanks to everybody who was help do done the talks of this week (Ronaldo, Stephania, Natali, Severo and so on).
