UCPel academic week
Yesterday I went to Pelotas far 271km from Porto Alegre. Pelotas is one of the 5 major cities inside the Rio Grande do Sul, and have 3 universities. This time I went at UCPel to participated of the academic week.
After I'm arrived I know that there are a no-show before my talk, so I have more time 
In fact it's a good notice because my presentation has 24 slides in totally. After 2 crash of OpenOffice I'm started talking about the advantages of OpenSolaris for 58 attenders (including teachers) in totally. After I explained the DTrace, ZFS, Zones and SMF concepts is time to show the system. I'm stopped the presentation and show my desktop, show the gnome plaining mp3 files and videos. Just to prove that it's the same that linux for who just use the desktop.
After the demonstration I'm show the SAI and after the OSUM. I'm created an group for the UCPel guys earlier...
At this time I'm stopped the talk and say "well I don't live here, I need someone for administrate the UCPel's group. Anyone?" Just one guy raise your hand. And I opened my bag pack and take an OpenSolaris t-shirt, after I listen a big "aaaahhhhhhh"
