Welcome Vivek's Weblog

I am stepping in to the world of blogging. I'm not really very good about this whole blogging thing, but you've to get started somewhere, so here it goes. :) I read recently that the blogging phenomenon wouldn't continue. Although, I can see the point - blogging requires time and effort, I think the social benefits of blogging will exceed its costs otherwise. :) I've been a long-time reader and have wanted to start a blog for a while. The reason I've waited is that I wanted to make sure I wasn't one of those writes one blog entry and then you never hear from them again. Well, after thinking about ways to mitigate that, I've decided that I have no way to guarantee that I won't be one of those, but I promise to try not to be. This is my first blog entry of many, hopefully slightly more interesting in next blogs from me.
