Jakob Nielsen told me to write this I just read his article on Weblog usability and realized I was breaking breaking the first rule of weblog-ics.

This is my attempt to resolve that error.

I am an engineer at Sun. I program using Java on a daily basis. I use and contribute to the NetBeans open-source IDE project on a daily basis. Most of the coding that I do is related to J2EE, Java EE, Sun Java System Application Server, and Project GlassFish.

I have written about using NetBeans and Sun's application servers in the past.

You can send me electronic correspondence routed through vince.kraemer@sun.com.

I have a Master's degree in CS from UC, Santa Barbara.

Hello, could you please modify the integration of appfuse with netbeans for appfuse 1.9.4. Some of the steps mentioned are no longer valid or information in the build.xml has changed. Thank you, Vikrant

After messing around with NB 5.5.1, i installed NB 6.0, sailfin, JDK etc - on a new computer. Everything went well until i got to the part where i install the plug-in for SIP support in NB. verion 0.1 works but version 0.2 in the NB->Tools->Downloaded->Add Plugin->Installs gives the error:
module.org.netbeans.modules.project.ant/1 > 1.17

Just in case, my ANT_HOME is set to
C:\Program Files\Sun\AppServer\lib\ant\bin

Hi,
I have followed the steps of your post: "Better Sailfin integration in NetBeans 6.1".

I have succeed installing Sailfin server, which I was not able to do in NB 6.0.

I am really newbie using this server, but I have tried to test the Sailfin's webpage example and I receive the following error: "java.net.MalformedURLException: no protocol: ${client.url}". The server is running properly. It happens also with the other example SipServletProxy.

Could you help me?

Thanks in advance,

Best regards,

Jonathan
