First meeting of Moscow OpenSolaris User Group

Three months after creation of Moscow OpenSolaris User Group we are going to have long overdue first meeting.

Here are the details for the meeting:

Topics: OpenSolaris - first year in review; Introduction of Solaris Internals II and Solaris Performance and Tools books

Date: 11th of Augut, 2006 18:30

Location: Sun's office in Moscow (directions)

Congratulations! Its wonderful to see this. St. Petersburg also has an OSUG, its started and run by Sergei Pikalev. We have a C/C++ compilers group there (with x86/x64 codegeneration), Fortran, IDE and Perf Analysis engineers. You can have some of these folks talk at your OSUG whenever they are in the area + distribute free developer DVDs. This format has been very successful in Silicon Valley. Hope you have a wonderful time of making it successful and do drop us a line if you need anything in the line of compilers and tools
